Make Every day your Perfect Day

By taking conscious control of your day you can program for a perfect day. Let me tell you how……

Like me, you are probably used to planning certain things – events, jobs, meetings, even shopping. You may also have applied your mind from time to time to manifest what you want, such as a new car, that extra bit of cash or whatever. On the whole, things generally turn out better when you give them your serious attention and some conscious planning. Without it, they may not happen at all!

Dial up all the resources you need

Now just think – you awake in the morning, and before you get out of bed, you view the day ahead. Let’s say that it’s an ordinary day with certain jobs you plan to do. Then you ask yourself what would make the day that lies ahead of you easier, more enjoyable, or more productive?

You might then state to yourself that you will have the energy to complete the jobs, that your work will flow smoothly, that you will feel confident and on top of the task. You might put in for support from other people, time for a restorative break during the day, and a feeling at the end of it all, that you’ve had a really good day, a perfect day.

Next, you get up and prepare breakfast and direct that the food will nourish and sustain you until your next meal, the water/fruit juice you drink will cleanse your system and keep you alert.

As you get into your car, you realise it will benefit you to have a calm and smooth journey with a parking spot at the end of it – and you pave the way for that with your conscious thought.

Conscious programming throughout the day

In short, as you live your day you can be conscious of what would help you to have the best outcomes and the best experiences. The more you focus on what you want, the more you are likely to manifest what you want. It also helps you to remain positive, conserve your energy and attract better responses from other people.

If you are not conscious about how you want your day to unfold, you will get a mixed bag of results, and that’s probably how it has been up to now. If you expect to have a bad day, you are more likely to have one. So try this as an experiment. Identify all the resources you need or desire, and expect to have them. You can either ask the Universe for them or just think of your conscious thoughts as being creative forces.

Limitless possibilities…

Be creative with this – for instance, you can consciously intend that every breath you take will be health-giving, that you will experience feelings of excitement instead of anxiety about a challenging event, that you’ll experience a new harmony in your relationships.

There are infinite possibilities and it can be so exciting.

I have found bringing conscious intention to daily life is really enriching. It’s also the perfect antidote to negative thinking. Fill your days with positively directed thoughts and there won’t be room for anything else. Best of all is when you start to realise that there is real power in doing this, and you know you are able to have a positive effect on your own life.

If you think it all sounds a bit far-fetched, remember that so much of our experience is determined by our perception of, and approach to, things. Here is an opportunity to start creating perfect days. Generate enough of those and you will soon have a perfect life!

This Month's Tip: Beat the Doom and Gloom - Decide To Be Happy

We can make how we react to situations in life a conscious choice. We can choose to be optimistic, forgiving, philosophical, or to see the funny side, just as we can choose to be annoyed, impatient, or gloomy. If so much is within our power to choose, it must also be possible to feel happy just by choosing to be.

Fed up with the endless negativity of news bulletins and the eroding effect it was having on my spirits, I recently decided to take myself in hand and test out this theory. I literally decided to be happy. Although I do things like reminding myself of my many blessings and focusing on the future with the expectation of more and more wonderful things happening in my life, it was this simple decision that had such enormous power.

Try creating your own positive emotional eco-system by deciding you will be happy. Be absolutely determined to be happy whatever your circumstances and no matter what appears threatening to you in the outside world. You can be sure that with this peace of mind and positive energy, good things WILL come to you more readily, and you’ll also be an inspiration for everyone else.
